chapped skin; response to Irene

Post by Bill Giman »

Irene,

Don't knock the credentials of Peskin, maybe you would have done so to Boenninghausen for being a lawyer, first.

Regards,
Bill G.

I did not knock his credentials - he's probably an excellent
eletrical nuts and bolts person.
I knocked his lack of knowledge on the subject he CLAIMS to know.
His credentials in the electrical area only *explain* his lack of
knowledge on the subject of eicosanoids from PUFAs which is the main
issue I was "knocking"!
And his PRETENSE that he was/is a "professor" in that subject area is
a key that he is not for real. If he knew his stuff (credentials or
not) he would write sense about it and not need to pretend to be a
professor!
You like people who pretend to be what they are not? YOU do not think
that pretense in one area makes other areas also suspect?
Are you saying he pretended something he was not? If so where?
Are you saying he did not know his subject? Why do you say that?

There is no comparison!

Namaste,
Irene

To my mind the important issue is not his credentials or otherwise, but
rather the reasons why (if he's been quoted correctly) his position is
*opposite* to that over everyone else on the subject. I also wonder
(still) whether Bill might possibly have misremembered, because the
difference seems to striking and unusual. But I don't have time to go
searching it out...
