Any help for women past 55 who are having hair loss. It seems that there are so many of us. Help. Thanks.

Hi,

Hair loss may be do to an mal-functioning Thyroid,
at this time in one's life.

Check for other symptoms of Thyroid hypofunction.
Add Iodine if needed and/or homeopathic constitutional.

Hi
Before anything else it would be advisable to check thyroid function &
relative testosterone levels, esp in cases of 'male pattern hair loss'.
Kind regards

Hi Gracie,
Before looking for physically pathological reason for the hair
thinning I would address the following with a client:

1. Control of sugar intake (insulin and triglycerides levels)
2. Optimal fresh air and sunlight on a daily basis.
3. Drink pure water and eat pure food
4. Avoid toxins in home/office/recreational facility
5. Eat the right fats
6. Eat plenty of raw food in season with periodic internal cleanses.
7. Get enough good natural sleep
8. Develop a daily self-care program to maintain flexibility,
strength, circulation and calm: prana yama, mediation, health
walking, yoga,
9. Grow and maintain a good support system: someone to talk to every
day, say "I love you"/hug//etc. often
10. Address emotional traumas and develop strategies to handle stress
in a healthy way.

Unhealthy lifestyle habits can be responsible for lack of oxygen,
buildup of wastes and toxins and an acidic body.

Not just hair but skin, bones, muscle, etc cannot regenerate or even
function well w/o the basics which provide and carry the life-force.
Quite often it can be as simple as that.

I just had a woman (after debating her) give up soda. Now, after yrs
of incontinence, she no longer needs to wear Depends and can hold her
urine for longe enough times to go to the theater, dinner, etc..

After that success, on my advise, she gave up artificial sweeteners
and now appears to be gaining movement in her leg and neck and lost 6
pounds w/o trying (she is 80 yrs old, overweight, stubborn and in a
scooter.)

If the client otherwise healthy and/or is unwilling to take care of
herself then I look for an emotional pathology, (can often be
culturally imposed) and address that with a remedy.
Best,
Lynn
