Adrenalin

Has anyone used adrenalin in potency?
I had a woman in today with multiple problems - why do I always get
them?
She is on a small dose of beta-blocker and says that if she stops
taking them her adrenalin doesn't switch off. Her chest goes tight
and she feels she can't breath and it is like a panic attack. They
can come on at anytime and the 1st one she had was in the 70s when
she was just lying in bed. She says her body is flooded with
adrenalin and she knows this because she has the feeling of a heart
beat in her ear. She also gets SAI a warm flush of liquid is running
down the side of her ear!!
OK - she actually came for her Reynaud's and carpal tunnel syndrome
which causes shooting pains from the hand up the forearm and there
is no rubric for that!!! She also has arthritis but no nosodities.
I gave her Calc 200 as although she is very slim, 57, on HRT(as
well) it fitted a lot of her symptoms.

That would fit the picture of a pheochromocytoma or carcinoid tumour or adrenal gland tumour, benign or malignant..........
If it was my patient I would like to eliminate those possibilities first, or treat them adequately if any of them was present.

Wow!! She has had the problem over 30 years so if a tumour it must be benign!! She has also been told she has chronic kidney disease stage 3 and is not at all bothered that she has blood in her urine all the time. The doctor who did the tests must know about it!! As I said it is another complicated case but she only came to get her Reynauds and carpal tunnel sorted!!!

I have just read up about -pheochromocytoma and it is very
interesting. It is wonderful having you on this list Dr Roz!! She is
meant to be phoning me in a week so I will ask her what tests she
has had.

if kidney disease has fluid retention which is perhaps contributing to the carpal tunnel. Do not know about Raynaud's. Might be worth while looking at kidney remedies. The heart in Apis makes interesting reading, Good Luck, Jean

I don't there is any water retention. DShe is extremely thin (has been tested for hyperthyroid) and there is no fluid around her finger joints. Calc was a 3 for urine in the blood. I will look at Apis heart stuff thanks

It can also be hyperthyroidism, possibly those bouts of it during
Hashimoto thyroiditis.

I get it off and on. I then take less thyroid hormone and it goes away
(I am hypothyroid). The endocrinologists are shocked about my way of
dealing with this and told me that to take beta-blockers instead.

I let it slide:-)

She has been tested for this and there was no sign of it.

Hi Rochelle,

I would suport her with Berb. Vulg, perhaps 3x or 6x, often, 3x daliy?

Had a patient with similar kidney failure, diagnosed 60% failure.

She went back 4 weeks later and was told kidneys were functioning normal again.
Prognosis by the medics? - Spontaneous remission!!!!
