with, I was referring to other therapies not being frowned upon that
much- at least not in an institutionalized way

Homoeopathy should NOT be used at the same time as other therapies. This

they will use antibiotics or some such, which actually make the case
more difficult - but that is all the MORE reason to use homeopathy.
Case example:
Pyometra is quite common in cats, and I've seen many cases like this one:
Cat has severe pyometra after being in season, unbred, or after
parturition where it failed to eat placentas or it had a very large
litter... Entire length of both horns are pus-filled, there is no
appetite, cat is lethargic, no fever, often hard for vets to diagnose
what's wrong - uterus feels spongy.
This is a known cat-killer for which vets either spay and use heavy
antibiotics and hope for the best - or if it is a valued breeding animal
- they use many different antibiotics in the hope something will help.
(Usually the cat gets toxic from antibiotic but remains ill, or worse.)
MY approach is to use homeopathy - and to go a potency higher then I
would without the antibiotic being present - as it seems to me that with
the antibiotic present it takes a higher potency to "punch through" the
toxins to be effective.
This does work - consistently - to get the cat well.
This is just one example.

So I do not feel it is right to say homeopathy should not be used at the
same time as other therapies. I'd do whatever seemed in the best
interests of the client.

To clear the mis-understanding - I was talking about using homoeopathy at
the same time as Reiki, acupuncture etc etc.

Of course we constantly see patients on allopathic medicine and we have to
also apply homoeopathy - whether it is for high blood pressure, seizures
etc.
(LMs come to their own under such cases)
