I think it's an interesting subject - and not one covered well in the

Yes, a few notes:
My cat Minerva was a Lachesis type personality. She travelled all over
the country with me, and sat in the passenger seat or slept on the
passenger floor - she loved the travel, especially at night - and got
excited every time we approached a town and she could see the lights,
and she'd hop up even if she'd been sleeping, to check out the scene.
However the most notable aspect of travel with her, was her specific
likes and dislikes of music I played on the road. She'd tell me in no
uncertain terms if what the radio played was not to her taste. [Being
Lach, her opinions were more like edicts.] Nothing too noisy (no heavy
metal, no rap) - and the right kind for her calmed her.
Of my current cats - the musician is Sindur, a Calc-Phos type, and she
loves to play my collection of wind chimes (including at 3am).
Fortunately she's incredibly agile - the tight-rope walker type (as
befits Calc-phos) so she can get to them all. Two other cats tinkle one
of them now and again - but Sindur actually plays them and dashes about
to do it in a series.
I love to play myself - piano especially classical but not Bach, more
the later composers, and I suspect I am a Platina type. I also enjoy
listening to a wide variety of CD music and to the symphony - but can't
stand Opera
My two Sepia cats are odd cases, considering piano music is said to
aggravate a sepia (per repertory). I do not see them upset by my piano
playing - but all I have to do to get an adverse response from either of
them is to pull scotch tape off a roll - and both will squeal in strong
objection with an ACK! sound. They also object to the noise of a sneeze,
though not quite as vehemently, ....but apparently can not stop
themselves from complaining automatically each time one of those noises
occurs.
What notes/anecdotes do others have on constitutional type and music?
Namaste,
Irene
