[H] homeopathy helping those we love (some good news amid all the bad)

Received the following one-liner today from a friend (also a lay person studying and applying homeopathy for her own and others’ benefit). She has been using homeopathic remedies for several years to treat her horse. (Note that he is a “rescue horse” and came to her in a very compromised state of health which she and her horse have had to work hard to remedy. I think I have written about him here before.) Recently he got an accidental, severe, deep stab wound/cut that could have lamed him if she had not known what to do. She did call in a vet to check him over, just to be sure what she was dealing with, but she has refused conventional meds for herself and Presto for several years now.
She wrote: “Thank goodness for Arnica, which provided pain relief for Presto during his injuries. I used no conventional painkillers or anti-inflammatories.” [the latter suggested by the vet she called in to have a look. She did not only use Arnica of course.]
She says Presto himself often greedily accepts or totally rejects her choice of remedy. I believe she offers it dry on her palm. He has also “chosen” his way back to health over several years, selecting from proffered herbs, mixed salads with homemade “dressing”, wild herbs foraged in the forest, etc.
