Has anyone any thoughts on the significance of frequent erections without any sexual thoughts/stimulation? This is in a man in his 40s. I have been considering it as part of a general hypersensitivity and nervousness but wonder if there might be a hormone/prostate connection.

Re: symptom query
Hello Theresa,
I would be curious to rule out any recent spinal/head injuries, even minor ones. Then
again his "state" may be that in fact they are from sexual thoughts but he is not ready to
say as much. It may be part of that "secret" story that clients usually have.
Best regards, Rik

Re: symptom query
Why the spinal and head injury connection? And yes, I do take your point except that it is a recent phenomenon and is associated with general edginess. I had wondered if any prostate conditions could lead to this. I m happy to continue with remedies but would like to be sure I am not missing something physical. When i started out i once treated a bloke for inability to have erections without checking his blood pressure ....
