Thank you ALL for the suggestions.
I did try aconite but forgot to mention it. I have been curious about zinc and cupr but here is some additional information to further guide our discussion.
scg
I did have a chat with her. Asked again about the incident of finding the chick in egg:
"who would ever think there would be a chick in your frying pan and put your finger in it, ick, surprised, hated touching it, like touching cudies, dead animal. Yelled for my husband, had dry heaves, gagging for hours over the toilet, head over toilet, couldn't sit, couldn't get comfortable (similar to now).
When asked if she ever experienced a similar situation earlier she responded:
steeping on a frog barefoot, or as a teen seeing a dead animal with its innards coming out, just to see animal squished on the road, I try to divert it with my eyes, makes me gag to look at it, or gagging from the smell of my baby son's poop. I remember my mother could be a jokester...coming home from school there would be coughing and hacking, she had thrown up over the floor. I had instant gagging...but then it was a joke, rubber vomit instead...it looked real, like stuff coming out from inside.
Patient also mentioned:
I was told about it when I was in first grade, 6yrs old that my father died from a gunshot wound. My mother and father argued all the time. He said he was happy for her to shoot him and she did...don't remember if I saw him or not. I was told it happened by people. My mother remarried and she argued with him too but I don't think he knew how my father died. I have blanked it out, it is a weird feeling that my mother could do that, hard to imagine.
When I asked more about the gagging, she said:
horrible, feel insides tearing up from it, wrecking my neck with all the movement, I was shuddering.
No particular dreams she remembers....only one she reported:
going shopping and forgetting the coupons I usually take with me, left them at home.
Asked more about foods:
hates slimy foods, gags on slimy foods. went to a chinese wedding and gagged as she thought it looked like some bug, slimy snail or slug...also some guys held me down and gave me a raw oyster, it was awlful. I was embarassed and humilated...they were jerks, "what part of NO don't you understand"
Also hate heights, legs get tingly, hates standing on a balcony, whole body tingles, hate being on a bridge if I am not in a car...afraid I would jump off, have an urge to jump
other GENERALS:
Better open air

Re: HELP WITH CASE continued
Sounds like there could be more still 'behind' the patient's story.
Calc, Nat-m av slimy foods (Synth 7.1), but I think that rubric is too
small. Oyster story implies 'rape' feeling. Aversion to slimy things
in my experience can indicate sexual abuse or issues around sexuality
(e.g. strict upbringing w guilt/disgust etc). Re bridge/urge to jump
etc: Arg-n, Boger: Region: Mind, Nerves - cerebro spinal, abdominal
[...] Worse: emotions - anxiety, suspense; in room; shut in; [...]
looking down [...] Better: cool - open air, bath; hard pressure; motion.
Other pointers in physicals & mind, I think. Worth having a look?
Interesting case, updates on progress would be great.

PS - "hated touching it, like touching cudies" - 'cudies' American term? Unknown in UK, on net found ref to 's.th. (unspecified) disgusting you can catch from girls', also 'body lice', or just 'disgusting germs': any other 'translation' that would show what the patient means?

Re: HELP WITH CASE continued
cudies...icky, disgusting, germs....
Sounds like you did a great search.
Will keep you posted; she has had sexual abuse, physically abusive husband in past.
Can't quite see arg-n for her but perhaps the impulse to jump from bridge is similar to that out of control feeling with blood/guts, wanting to escape, get it out, go out etc.
Thanks
