Hi, Fran.
Thanks for sharing -- fascinating evolution. How interesting, too, that with different underlying fears from the patient I had, Lyc would again be the remedy that helped, and it's not in the rubric "fear of flying." Should it be added? Anyone else?

Hi, Rochelle.
This is an interesting discussion -- illustrates how one phrase can mean a lot of different things underneath and require different remedies :-)) Rosemary

I had someone who came for fear of flying, the fear was strongly connected to the death of her husband (through illness) two years before. Nat-Mur seemed to be the best remedy for her, fitting totality, told her to sniff (olfactory dose) the remedy on the plane if necessary, in the end she only kept it in her bag, did not need to take it out. It seemed that it helped, even though it wasn't actually taken. I see it's in fear of airplanes, don't know about fear of flying. Anyone?

Agreed, but most humbly, TUB and CARC work from a miasmatic influence as fear is just a switch or trigger that turns on from various issues in life.
Humbly said though – and in no way contradicting what you have said J

Hi Beverly
is it fear of flying or fear of dying from the airplane exploding, or is it fear of falling?

I had a patient with what appeared to be fear of flying a while ago. After thinking about it he mentioned that he was not afraid of flying really and was not afraid of a quick death as from an explosion on the plane. His fear was "what if there is a mechanical malfunction and the plane will fall off the sky and we will be falling for a long time before hitting the ground, it should be having to wait for death. He shivered at the thought of it "
So at the end in that case it was not a fear of flying but a fear of falling and Arg-nit did beautifully.

But it was the constitutional rx that removed the fear and now he flies regularly with no problem....by the wonder of homeopathy!

Kind regards

Lucy De Pieri PhD, DCH
