Re: Sheri's group
Sheri,
I have asked a couple of times where the group is (URL) and am
interested in joining, but even though I am a 5th and 6th Org
prescriber I do not seem to be encouraged to join, why is this?
Are there other criteria for joining that I don't know about?
Simon

Hi all,
After much frustration on Minutus, Lyghtforce & other lists, I've set up
the new list for Hahnemannian Homeopathy.
If you know others who are of a similar mindset, who might want to become
members, please feel free to forward this to them.
This list is open to:
1. students
2. practitioners
3. anyone who is interested in learning
My intention for this list is for all of us:
1. to have a place to deepen our knowledge of the 5th & 6th edition of
the Organon and
2. find support for this as well as discussion of cases and input on ways
to progress with dosing and case management, according to 5th & 6th edition.
My intention is to have a place where we all agree, basically, on certain
things.
* That we are practitioners or students of the 5th and 6th edition of the
Organon and especially Hahnemann's teaching regarding dose and potency and
case management. (Hahnemann's advanced methods):
acutes with more constitutional remedy if symptom picture is different
not remedies used on speculation
treatment is not something we accept, encourage or want. (except for
possibility at the end)
* That we work within miasmatic theory - whether that is 3 miasms or more
can be discussed
* Dose and potency as just as important as finding the simillimum and that
quality case management is vital following principles elucidated above.
Can anyone else think of anything to add that sets 5th & 6th edition apart?
We may not all be on the same page at the beginning here, but should
generally agree.
David Little & Luc de Schepper have written extensively to assist us in the
implementation of these principles into our practices. Of course none of
us will agree with everything they have written. If have you haven't read
from David's website or Dr. Luc's book, Achieving and Maintaining the
Simillimum,, I encourage you to start with those, but especially Dr. Luc's
book. We will have a great time learning, discussing all of this &
supporting each other in application of the principles.
We are in a challenging time with homeopathy where schools do not teach the
5th & 6th edition of the Organon. If you do attend one of those schools
you will not get teaching or mentoring in case management using water
potencies, which is a very different way of managing cases.
Most practitioners, today, are 4th edition prescribers, if that (or
followers of dowsing for remedies, using machines to determine remedies,
using combo or complex medicines, using sequential therapy according to no
homeopathic laws or principles and more.) There are many new renegade
systems out there that call themselves homeopathy.
There are also many new systems coming out to help us take the case and
find the simillimum. Those can be discussed also, but if they don't follow
the 5th & 6th edition of the Organon, they are not applicable here.
If you are interested in joining go here
http://groups.google.com/group/HahnemannianHomeopathy
Membership requires approval by me after you answer these questions:
1. Tell me who you are & your interest in this group - why you want to be
part of this list
2. If you are a homeopath, where were you trained? School? Teachers?
Own study?
3. If you are not a homeopath, tell me about your experience and study of
homeopathy?
4. Do you use 5th & 6th edition of Organon?
5. What does that mean to you?
6. Do you use water potencies; what potencies; what is your experience?
7. What is your understanding about miasms? Do you use these as
guidelines in your case management? If so, how?
8. What is your chronic dosing method in detail.
9. What is your acute dosing method in detail.
10. Have you read David Little's website extensively? A student in his
online class?
11. Have you read Dr. Luc de Schepper's book "Achieving and Maintaining
the Simillimum" &/or been in any of his classes?
11. Brief, Homeopath biography and resume
Thank you so much!
Once I've heard back from 10 or 15 of you, I will activate the list and we
can start discussing.
Looking forward to a great experience!
Sheri
