...we used Kent's Repertory, sans additions, in conjunction with '4th
Edition' techniques. We thought we were doing quite well at the time
and seemed to be. How is this possible? Have the huge changes in the
last 10-15 years - Periodic Table, Reference Works, computers,
repertories a foot thick, hundreds of new remedies and provings,
families, 10 miasms, sensations, LM's and water potencies (not new but
now deemed necessary), etc etc resulted in proportional improvement in
results? If these things are really necessary how was ANYONE getting
better 20 years ago?
What percentage improvement in results has a 1000% increase in
knowledge, technique, theories and data led to? Answers on a postcard
please....

Well, not everyone was getting better 20 years ago, as not everyone is
getting better today--by homeopathy or any other. We hear about
numerous people whose cure only begins when the h'th learns a "new"
remedy (my daughter is one of those); I've heard several people talk
about using new analysis methods (periodic table, Sensations, for e.g.)
to solve cases they had been unable to previously. Percentage? I have
no idea. But is it worthwhile? I would have to say YES!!!

Hi Robin& Shannon,
The increase in the effectiveness of prescribing with All the aids,
new analyses and better understanding of organon is still not enough
for the onslaught by allopathic suppresive improvisations of the last
two decades.
