My daughter when age 6 lost the top of her finger and it drew back nail and all. I did research and saw that up to age 6 fingers can regenerate. They wanted to sew the nasty dirty - found in a dusty corner- bit of finger back on . Am so glad I didn't let them. The top of her finger was tender for years and is a bit flat and for years it was a struggle to cut her nail because she said it hurt.

I've been reading a bit on regeneration (books by Robert O. Becker MD), and he says that it is well documented that children up to age 11 years can regenerate cleanly amputated fingertips left open (unsutured). The amputation must occur before the first major dorsal crease in the fingertip.
This one study on 10 children found electrical currents during fingertip regeneration similar to those of salamander regeneration, which is very exciting. Becker was able to artificially regenerate limbs in both frogs (full regeneration) and rats (partial regeneration) using similar electrical currents.

A question for homeopathy: has homeopathy ever been known to regenerate damaged tissues or organs? For example, has it ever been known to heal parapalegia or quadraplegia? I've been wondering this for a long time, if homeopathy's mechanism is regenerative in any way since it carries minute electrical fields.

Hi Helen!

A. Saine reported a case of a very high spinal injury, C3, the clinic refused any further treatment because of no chance of success. Andre gave Opium, and 2 other remedies according the sx , by chance his wife was physiotherapist and he could walk and paint after a period of 2 years and hard training and close hom treatment.

If it's of interest, I had an isolated case in which a cat whose ears
were kicked clear off - regenerated them. It took about 3 months. They
came back beautiful, without the chips in the edges from old cat fights
and such:-)
