that is interesting. i will ask the mom about this, even thought the murder of one uncle and the death
by drug or sexual related diseases in 3 aunts makes syphillinum seem fairly interesting.

Isn't thalidomide long out-of-use for women of childbearing age?

fairly interesting.

that is ONLY one aspect of the case. But an important one. But you have
to have a match with the total symptom picture.
The nosode is not always first choice. There are many syphilitic remedies

dear sheri,
i realize that. i definitely realize that. unless someone just picked up a book on homeopathy, one would realize that fairly quickly.

Sheri

book on homeopathy, one would realize that fairly quickly.

well, you are the one who said ">i'm thinking Syphillinum 1m for each of
them..."

which sounds like you weren't looking at the individualizing features.

dear sheri,
i don't wish to be argumentative. but unless one assumes that I've taken a complete case it would be
unwise to suggest any remedy to me.
when questions are asked regarding : faulty enamel on teeth, hungry 2 hours after going to bed, epileptic seizures when surprised, etc ...i presume that the questioner has taken a complete case and needs some incite regarding a piece of it.
on the other hand to suggest that i would be searching for the remedy at minutus for something as profound as deformed fingers without having taken a complete case hints of condescension , which i doubt you meant.
best,
bonnie

Yes, it is still used, though supposedly not for pregnant women. I suggested potentized Thalidomide not out of any suspicion the mom might have used it, but because of the similarity (as described) of the child's deformity to that of Thalidomide babies.

It's an interesting thought. Is there anything else known about the
"picture" of thalidomide--any proving or clinical use, do you know?

(( It is at least in in Referenceworks F, so should be in later versions
(Marshes clinical drug pictures). Lots of symptoms (I am not on that
computer, or would post them).
