Large open leg wound

Post by sabyrah76 »

I have a friends whoes family in Africa was in a car accident in
October. She has already sent homeopathics for trauma and brocken
bones, but the one sister is now dealing with large open wound to one
or both thighs. THis sister is pregnant, thus not a good surgical
candidate...and has already had a huge sugery to help mend the brocken
bones in both her legs. (it was a bad acciedent). If it would help, I
have pictures of the wound that I can send privately....

Anyone want to offer advice on this one? Again, the family is in
Africa, Uganda.

Judy

Dear Judy,

Without full details difficult to say- have Ledum, Hypericum, Symphytum been
given?
Are there head or torso injuries as well?
Explore possibility of Pyrogenum 6C and Calendula lotion or gel.

Regards.

Never ever put Arnica gel/cream/tincture on an OPEN wound as it can cause
a painful reaction and rash.

Arnica gel is NOT a good idea as Arnica should not be applied in open wounds, It apparently crystals forms in the blood stream. Calendula is good, dilute mother tinture 3-5 drops in a cup of distilled water and wash the wound. Keep the wound wet with the diluted Calendula mother tincture without changing the bandage daily, as this may rip the newly developing skin. USe again the diluted Calendula mother tincture to wet to remove the bandage after 3-4 days.
Arnica may be given internally if symptoms match
I hope this helps

I assumed she meant to give arnica in potency, internally. Still,
certainly a good reminder!

What about calendula in potency? I've heard of 200c being used
(internally) for large open wounds, infection, etc.?
