Epilepsy case - control and digging up suppression

Hi,

This a student asking about her most difficult case. I need help in working
in a delicate way through strong medications.

AURA AND EPILEPSY SYMPTOMS
The patient suffered from grand mal attacks were he would feel energy rising
in his head, a slight lift off at the top of his head. The auras result in
energy collecting at the bridge of his nose and then going into the
forehead. He is generally cold, wears sox's to bed, flabby, bad back (hurts
his back with the slightest effort, poet intellectual. He had his first
attack during time of mental exertion and he enjoys mental exertion thus
he writes and publishes poetry. He has probably 20 seconds of warning aura
before he succumbs to the grand mal. Now he only has auras because of the
medications. During the grand mal seizures, he falls on the floor, loses
consciousness and could lose urine. No talking, drooling, rolling of eyes,
movement of any kind. After the attack he loses some memory and is tired
for several days. He has a tremor in his hands (before the attacks.
Epilepsy is carried by a grandparent who never medicated.)

MIND
Very vivid imagination and dreams (Bell). Infatuated with sexuality and
likes to talk about his visions although a bit embarrassed. Except for
anxiety, he appears very laid back. Lazy about getting remedies that I
instruct him to get and probably in general lazy. Must keep his house in
order, but not bothered by dirt. Driven mainly by the desire to write and
research but does not talk about that. Quite private. Likes company.

REMEDY HISTORY
Physicals and mental sx fit Calc carb, but 6 c as needed brought on auras.
Although he is medicated he has small auras. With Calc-c the auras were
worse. It also stopped many small symptoms (back problems, frequent
colds). Did not cure driving anxiety. Had to stop the Calc-c 12 c diluted
5 times because driving was too dangerous when has strong auras. Used low
potencies for all.

Bell 1M has stopped the driving anxiety for now.

Over the past 2 years have used arnica, cic, Nat-s because he feel and hit
his head hard when he had the seizures 6 years ago. Since then, he has been
on heavy meds that make him dopy. None of these three remedies did much for
the auras or made any impressive change. None of them fit his whole case.

Suphur brings out skin suppressions. Because he is used to suppressing
problems, he immediately suppressed the sulphur skin sx. He has agreed not
to suppress the skin problem if we go through with the next homeopathic
regime. I have warned him that he will get a return of suppressed symptoms
and he understands that he is not to suppress them. I will send him to a
local homeopath for acutes if needed.
PLANS

He is now in a position to not drive. His wife is pregnant and he will
probably take care of the baby. In the last year he was certified as a
school librarian, but can't find a job. Great fear that his epilepsy will
be discovered and he will become unemployable. Until he finds a job, he can
afford to cooperate with the homeopathy. Because he is basically lazy,
getting his attention and getting him to follow a regime is not easy.
Probably because I am so cheap and because we have had some small results,
he is more cooperative than he was in the past. Have worked wiith him for 2
years. Because he is very absent minded, it is hard to put him on an as
needed regiem.

1.) Wait to see of Bell 1M will do more for him than to just stop the
anxiety attacks when driving. If Bell does little then use proceed to the
following remedies:
2.) Use sulphur again and lift off as much suppression as possible.
Possibly try Silica too for the same reason. Have never used Silica with
him.
3.) From now on, generally use LM's in water. He is not particularly
sensitive to remedies.
4.) Possibly use Calc until he begins having bad auras, Move to Sulph or
Silica to lift off suppression. Use them alternately or as a trio whatever
appears to work. I know many of you would be against using a succession of
remedies. I am not talking about being on automatic drive. Rather do what
appears to work. Having the auras can be damaging to his brain, at the same
time we want to decrease his allopathic drugs because they make him a bit
dopey. He is already a dreamer. So I want to do this very carefully and
gradually with the least aggravation possible.

What do you think to any of these plans.
