Thanks, Dr. R, for that fascinating explanation of some of the dynamics
underlying the quite different evolution of French homeopathy. I've always
wondered how that happened.

Goes kind of:
On waking, 3 pills of A........before breakfast 3 pills of B, after
breakfast 3 pills of C; at 10 AM 1 suppository of D; before lunch 3 pills of
E and a glass of X, during lunch 1 tablet of F, after lunch but before
coffee 3 pills of.......and so on until bedtime.........
He claims it is working of course.........no wonder, with everything that
the patient has to take on time, how could he have time to consider his
symptoms and complain........nice thing is that if you miss one pill, then
the whole treatment does not work, so it is never the practitioner's
responsibility in case of failure...........

i think every protocol has its varied forms of practice. think about
the numerous ways that people can practice chiropractic. i see
a network chiropractor who had traditional training but then went
on to develop his process of networking. i know chiropractors who
insist networking isnt real chiropractic. acupunturists also have their
differences. some will treat acutely; ie, allopathically, while others
insist on working constitutionally. and what about the quiet battle that
is brewing over vaccinations with vets. and the fight goes on. it just
seems that homeopathy has so many proponents who have different
varieties of approaches.

I don't know for sure Shannon but I do know there are those who believe in
using the minimum amount of needles and those who don't.

Re: Hahnemannian homeopathy VS. combos
very few people post on this list and although some may be fearful it
is because questions do not get answered, instead all the peripherals
gets dragged in to a pedantic word play - the question asked was about
the justification of comination rx and the support to be shown for
them from hahnemann - this is still waiting - so many students on this
list may or may not be convinced that they should now take this route
of using rx in that way - if people aren't posting it isn't because of
discussions like this (maybe a few) but out of over 2000 members,
please, do you know them all and their reasons.

Re: Hahnemannian homeopathy VS. combos
I've no doubt there are Joy but we're not hearing about them. When I wrote
about the dangers of combination remedies on another list (dogs) I didn't
get one person agree with me, because they'd seen with their own eyes the
benefit of those combination remedies that was prescribed to them, on an
individual basis, by their vet. I've no idea what was in the combination,
or how many remedies were combined, because the vet doesn't give out that
information, but I do know the people she gave them to are singing her
praises and is becoming more popular as a result.
I think what Dr. J. Rozencwajg said in his first email about combinations
makes a lot of sense.

I've had several patients become very ill taking combos given by
naturopaths.
I like to wait about 6 weeks before I take theri case.

Re: Hahnemannian homeopathy VS. combos
Interesting -
Do you also wait for 6 weeks if they are on allopathic medicines?
Do you allow your patients to be on allopathic medicines when they are
on homeopathy?
Have you noticed that they are worse off taking homeopathic
combinations than taking allopathic drugs for example say antibiotics?
Are these combinations of mother tinctures or potencies?
I am not arguing here - but in India ayurveda has been practised for
more than 2000 years and the combinations that they are using ( mainly
of herbs) are not different much from what we use in low potency
combinations...and people have been gobbling up for millennia mostly
without side effects...
Also, if the combinations make people that sick, homeo pharmacies that
make them would have long gone out of business- I thought that they
are still making them only because they are profitable ( meaning
people buy them)- they are not going to make much money out of single
medicine, single dose prescriptions ( at least in India).
If the combinations can make people sick that much then they must be
pretty powerful stuff - I wonder may be a decrease in dosage or a
higher dilution might make it a wonderful addition to our arsenal ( at
least better than creating something using meditation)
some food for thought-

I'm noticing that about half of the posts I send also are not arriving on
the website. I also wonder what is happening.
