Dear Chris and all,
Whew!! I just opened my mails (I view minutus only once a week or so) and I must say, "Wow!"
First:
Let me apologise to Chris & other "classicists" -
I now know without a doubt of a doubt of a doubt that y'all ain't gonna want to even smell no 2 remedies near each other, even if someone thinks they might do a patient a world of good. You don't want to hear about it, you don't want to know about it and -most especially- you don't want that others should share it on Minutus because you consider this emailing list your very own preserve.
This is a clear message. And this is to let you know that I got it loud and clear.
Secondly:
I understand that and I will do my best to continue to respect that. After all, it is why I changed the subject to "...&dentist" and attempted (failed obviously) to humourously red-flag it with the "heads shaking" comment as well as advised for the finicky - "...or taken separately one after another within the 1/2 hour before walking in..."
I thought those markers would have been enough to alert readers that the comments were "off topic" and not directed to those who felt they have no use for them.
In future questionable emails I will "off topic" it so that folks can be well warned and simply toss this poor intrepid writer's email.
Thirdly to Chris:
You wrote: "Didi knew what discussion would follow"
I truly didn't.
It is a misconception on your part to think that I wanted to instigate some kind of WorldWideWrestling match between the "classicists" and the rest of us... ummm .. "mongrels" (re: Jeremy Crowley)
In fact I wrote: "But without getting into a long -possibly bitter- rebuttal, justification or endless discussion..." which, unfortunately, peacible as the statement was intended, seemed to have an effect of aggravating worse than taking a Sulphur 1M for an itch. Just gotta scratch till it bleeds, i guess.
Fourthly,
I ever remain without comment on the burning issues of "what is 'classic' " and related topics such as "did Hahnemann approve", "is polypharmacy polluting our purity" etc. I simply say that I'm no scholar.
I'll say for myself- when its possible, I definitely go for the single rx. When its not, well, I look for what works. The patient's cure & relief in the most rapid, gentle way is what I'm after. Whatever gives a good kick to the ol' vital force is for me.
Finally,
Chris and all
I welcome you to volunteer at Abha Light's projects in Kenya. For that matter, there are many similar efforts by sincere dedicated homeopaths in projects in Botwana, Senegal, and soon to open- Ghana, and others too. I know there are others working in Central and South America, not to mention India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and so on. In case you haven't by now, take an opportunity to serve humanity and see the world at the same time.
Besides, perhaps you'd like a break from all those ever-so-difficult-to-cure broken down ol' constitutional cases and want to experience pioneering in these "homeopathic no-man's lands". Don't worry for sure, we, at Abha Light, won't hinder you from practicing classically, any maybe you'll get some unique experiences, too, to take back to your own practice. Your contribution towards the effort to bring homeopathy to every corner of the globe will be historical and appreciated by all. You are ever welcome.
Post script:
And thanks Hahnemannian2002- I'll remember your caution about avoiding bites. BTW, your polypharma recipe for bites has all the makings of a good complex, as you wrote: "Ledum + Echinacea + Caladium or even Lachesis ...

"
...ummmm....Though I would have thought a single dose of simple Dulcamara would have been more appropriate, for you (the 'classicists') didn't really bite hard, just many at once.......
(I'll leave it to all of you to figure that one out.)
Sincerely,
Didi Ananda Ruchira
