I sprained my left wrist and also have golfers elbow on both elbows.
Golfers elbow is on the medial side of the elbow NOT Tennis elbow which
is on the lateral elbow.
My problem is from over use of my flexors. I'm a Massage Therapist and
Yes I'm using Arnica all the time.
Any suggestions as to a remedy for me to take.
I know about Ruta for wrists, Rhus Tox and Bryonia but this is on my
left side (wrist) and it hurts when I use it so Rhus Tox would be out.
And my elbows always feel inflammed.
Many Thanks for any suggestions
Colleen

Re: golfers elbow
Hi Colleen,
Ruta is not just "wrists", but has a general affinity for tendons and
ligaments. I'd try that, and see if it seems to help. But, if you're
taking "arnica all the time", it sounds like a constitutional issue is
also at work. (If you're not able to get constitutional treatment for
it at the moment, might try adding lots more omega 3 fatty acids,
vitamin C, herbal anti-inflammatories?)
Best wishes,
Shannon

just to say the obvious: when you finish a golfing session, i assume you
do some exercises to stretch those muscles and balance the opposite
ones in the arm.

Re: golfers elbow
Hi Shannon, what I didn't say about the Arnica is I'm using it as a
lotion for my hands and arms. I have the Homeopathic cream.
It helps but not enough. When I rest my hands and arms from my
work, it subsides but not totally because it's only a day or so that
I have rest and I'm back at it again with massages to do.
Yes the tendons on my medial elbow are inflammed from extending my
wrists too much with pressure. sigh - the life of an LMT.
I'll try the Ruta and see.
thanks much,
Colleen
