actually it's odder than that--like longish hairs, growing one at a
time and sporadically straight out of the lesions. (At least that's
what the video on TV showed.) I think the case was made well that we
don't have to have a remedy that reproduces the fibers, but they are
the oddest part of the thing. I've kind of checked out of deciding
whether it's "real" or not--as Robyn pointed out, there are various
possibilities. But it's odd! You might find it interesting to Google
Morgellons and see whether you've seen any such thing.
