What rubrics and/or remedies might apply:
This is an 11-year-old boy who seems to be "double jointed" sort of all
over! He likes to do "contortions" with his shoulders (drops them
out-of-joint quite a lot farther than I can!), fingers (makes his
thumbs "dance", sort of popping in and out of joint??), wrists (bends
thumb to lie almost flat along the inside of his wrist), arm (hard to
describe... sticks hand out in front of him and rotates it inward,
moving thru more than 360 degrees--definitely more than any of the rest
of us can do!). There's plenty more "case", but I'm curious about this
one part. I seem to remember that calc-fluor has some such thing, but
don't know what rubric it would be, and wonder what else might be
there?
Would "lax fiber" cover it? (But calc-fl is not there...)
Thanks!

hyperextensible joints?
Re: hyperextensible joints?
Assuming there is no underlying pathology that is causing this then I
would use 'Joints, dislocated, easily'.
Have a nice weekend, I'm off

Thanks Joy, that's definitely worth a look!
