Any clue about the mechanism of isopathic/homeopathic treatment of burns?

is Ignis alcoholus a remedy ? I seem to recall something about it from Kent but could you please refresh my memory?

Cinnabar--can you tell more? Have you used it for any particular type
of burn, any particular guiding symptoms, or just any ol' burn? I have
(but have not read) Eising's proving, but don't have anything else
about it at all!

Sorry not to have responded sooner, but it's garlic harvesting season here and my e-mail has gone untouched for a week.

Ignis alcoholus (Fire) is a relatively new remedy, so not in Kent's repertoire. Nuala Eising did the proving, and the remedy is available from Helios. Unfortunately, my clipboard won't let me copy more than 500 words at a time, or I'd include some information from ReferenceWorks.

Thus far I've used the remedy only for burns, for which it performs spectacularly. As in a glass-blowing accident involving molten glass on the hand -- two doses of 30c and no pain, no need even to dress the burn!
