The Black Mamba made him 10 x worse and I have gone back to the Meddorinum
except in a 200 as child reckoned he was better and calmer from that. Mum
has also come to me for a consultation but what she really needs
desperately is a parenting course. We both know of the same one but she
reckons she hasn't got the time. I make no comment. As usual this 12 yr old
lad appeared to me as if butter wouldn't melt in his mouth- a gorgeous
looking lad who admits he can fool anyone!! No restlessness when he was with
me at all otherwise I would have considered Tub.

But you don't figure the worsening was aggravation, or could be handled
by changing posology?
Can you say more, Rochell--I'm curious!

I don't think it was an aggravation as it has gone on for a month. I think
it was either the wrong remedy and did nothing or he was proving the remedy
. His behaviour was far worse than normal. I wouldn't even think of
changing the posology as there was no amelioration at all. What he needs
are ground rules that are strictly adhered to by all parties.

What about Marble? I imagine you've read Nuala Eising's
description--doesn't that seem to suit, taking into account the
different circumstances? (Cold, self-absorbed, manipulative, endlessly
charming??)

I'll have a look at that one , thanks. I have given it to an adult before
who was depressed with great success but then in that case it probably came
up in my rep!!

I'll be interested to hear if you try it! 'Cause I've become enchanted
with the idea. I kept thinking there was some connection my mind
wasn't quite making, somewhere I'd seen a similar "flavor", and marble
is what my mind was reaching for. But I've never used it, or read any
cases other than Nuala's. Can you recall what the distinguishing
features were of the case you used it for?

OK I now have to apologise!!! Have just checked my patient's records and it
was Granite (Lap- gr- m) I gave her not Marble (Lap- mar- c)!! I got in a
muddle because Granite is also one of Nuela's and they are both Laps!! I
will let you know if I prescribe it for this boy but I won;t be seeing him
for another month."
