fear of being different

Post by ehc »

Hello all

would appreciate if anyone could suggest a rubric for

'I fear having a better job than others which I usually do as then I am perceived as being different and not accepted". patient is female, intelligent in managerial roles

I don't think 'fear of men' is quite it

any other suggestion?

thanks

Beverly

you might try the old feminist issue: fear of success

Is this an issue with success, or is it fear of standing out from the "herd"
and not being accepted?

There could be quite a lot and many coming in from different angles and
shaped according to what else is going on in the case.

Lac caninum, e.g. have a situation where they think themselves of
little consequence, servile and this reflected in a rubric such as
Fear, she will become unable to perform her duty.

Pulsatilla like to merge with people and a good rubric for this is Fear
of the opinion of others. Lots of other rx as well for this. Perhaps it
is something along the line of being judged by others especially if she
is in a managerial role and finds it difficult actually 'managing'
people.

Calcarea has the sensitivity of being watched and observed and they are
very easily offended - the rubric here would be Fear of her condition
being observed. A number of the natrums have these feelings and want to
be invisible, not noticed.

Ask the person what she means by this, follow it through, otherwise you
will be speculating. Best wishes, Joy

Or is it just a recognition that she *is* different (that others see
her as different), and hypothesizing as to why?
