Could anyone shed light on remedies where patient has a sense of being able to smell 'earthy' smell - not dusty

You have to ascertain that the 'earthy' smell has high ranking enough
to be a SRP. You might also have to use the more general rubric Nose,
odours imaginary or real or even Delusions of smell, which open up the
sx to many more remedies.

Also Calc and Veratrum should be in the 'earth' smell.

re your rubric below --- I find it interesting that i do not have that rubrci in my RU
I do not have Mind-phen-odors......at all.

However, I do have:
RU 111 in Radar
SMELL - PHENOMENA - ODORS, imaginary and real - earth, as of

anac. CALC. m-ambo. m-arct. sulph. VERAT.

And from Synthesis:

NOSE - ODORS; imaginary and real - earth; as of

anac. Calc. m-ambo. m-arct. sulph. Verat.

This discrepancy needs to be double checked I think.

Why would this be a pathology unless there were no earth/dirt around?

Sinusitis and menopause often perceive strange smells not really
there.

this symptoms has just recently come on the patient
earthly smell can happen anywhere even a long way from open ground pot
plants etc
