Name and penetration

Hello all,

Can anyone help me with this? Do the Hepatitis nosodes have a
"name"? - ie: hepatatinum B or some such?

Also, does anybody have a background in hom. pharmacy to help me with
this one. Are some base pilules better for medicating than others? For
example I have remedies on different base pilules, depending on what
base I requested and in other instances, just what the pharmacy
supplied. Some pilules are made from a seemingly hard, non-porous
lactose, some seem to be made from a porous sucrose and some from a
sucrose, starch mixture that is also hard and non-porous.

With such differences in the base pilule, does this affect the
nature/size of the dose? Would the porous one carry more "dose" than
the non-porous one?

Dear Julian is no longer here to help with this one but I can remember
him in the past writing that the base pilule is fully penetrated and
not just surface-coated by the medicating liquid (he said this was
demonstrated by medicating the pilule with a dyed liquid and then
cutting it open -- one could see that the dye had penetrated to the
middle of the pilule). His comment came up in a discussion on whether
handling the pilule would remove the remedy. I can see that such
penetration would be true with my porous pilules but not with my
non-porous ones. Does this difference make much difference?
