Help putting symptom into rubric, please

[Caro]

My patient describes vision problems of the right eye in the fllowing
manner:
"It's as if I had been looking directly at the sun and was blinded by its
light, or blinded by the lights of another car while driving. Then comes a
darkening of the vision"
Lately accompanied by inner eye pain (right eye only, again). No
inflammation. Very worried about losing vision permanently.

happen? Has he had his eyes checked to make sure there's not an
"organic" issue, retina problem, or ?

According to her this is an almost permanent thing, which appeared at the
time of her treatment with megadoses of Thyroidin from prior homeopath.
She's been off it for about 2 months and there's been well-marked general
improvement with Digitalis 200C (first dose a month ago). Nevertheless, the
eye symptom had remained unclear to me until today -she's very vague
describing her symptoms- and is still her chief complaint (although slight
improvement since Dig). Refuses to see the eye doctor but doesn't mind me
sharing her case openly with other homeopaths.

Glonoine is one of the remedies I fancied re-proving on James Randi in case
he agreed to take part to see how extreme dilutions have an effect.

Hearing the eye doctor's observations and thoughts could help (maybe)
with finding the needed remedy, and also certain situations (detached
retina, something like that?) might not be expected to respond to
remedies (yet can be fixed surgically). Maybe you can find someone
else with an... hm, is it called an occuscope? to see whether there's
anything to observe (atrophy, swelling, hemorrhage, detachment)? Does
she have some vision still in the right eye (between flashes, or in
spite of), or only the alternate flashes and darkness? And are there
any modalities? Mm, "vague" can be frustrating, good luck!!!! Could
she keep a diary for you?

Also I assume that her feelings about seeing an eye doctor should be
part of the prescribing picture--is she refusing out of fear (I
assume), and can she say any more about it? Because they can't *make*
her follow any course of treatment she's not willing to, yet they could
offer information!

I don't know a great deal about eyes, but to me this sounds worrisome.

Actually, I sometimes wonder how the mindset of one like he who is so
disbelieving in homeopathy, would effect any remedy reaction. Logically

Have only just got round to reading this - mega doses of Thyroidinum
makes you cringe, how is this happening!

I am beginning to see the connection you have made with Digitalis.
Thyroidinum has 'progressive loss of sight with central scotoma' so
