Does anyone have any information on the remedy ozone?
Can't find anything in Kent's Materia Medica or in the

Thanks, Colleen

A small blurb:
Interestingly, Allen first proved ozone when it started to become popular as a therapy for research back in the late (circa) 1890's.

Comment:
Since then ozone therapy (or bioxydative therapy) has been long and widely researched and used therapeutically. Oddly, despite the good work ozone therapy does, it never "grabbed" the attention of either allopaths (not patentable, therefore not lucrative enough) or the alternative community (maybe for similar reasons?). AMA did a good job of banning it in USA; some European countries, notably Germany & Italy and a bit, England, have done the most extensive research.

till later.....

Are ozone (O3) and "regular" oxygen (O2) *both* used therapeutically (I
think that "hyperbaric oxygen" treatment does use regular oxygen)? If
so, does "bioxydative therapy" refer to both, or only ozone? I know
that both can be damaging if there aren't sufficient antioxidants in
the body--you want the "fire", but you don't want the wrong structures
to burn! It is interesting that it (they?) gets so little press, and
yet the press it (they?) *do* get seems so impressive!

Dear Shannon!

To my knowledge - "Bioxydative" refers to the whole realm of oxygen, ozone and hydrogen peroxide used in a variety of ways.
As for myself, I've been taught by my mentor how to use intravenous hydrogen peroxide. Ozone was banned by the Powers that Be here in Kenya. I know only that there can be different forms of ozone too.
