Can anyone find a rubric for a patient with multiple problems but she tells me that when she lifts her arms up it is as if she loses control of her bowels. She reckons it is to do with nerves in her spine. She has been diagnosed as having Borrelia amongst other parasites.

Re: weird sx
Ferrum has <<< raising arms as does Sanguinaria and I think there is a
rubric along these lines Arms, raised. You could use Stool involuntary,
on movement.
Even better (and its taken me an hour to remember this remedy I've got
a headache now) but Spigelia has a combination of worms, a sensation as
if a stool would be passed and also the modality of <<< raising arms
(even thinking about raising the arms aggravates), and it also effects
the nerves.
Best wishes, Joy

Re: weird sx
Hi Rochelle,
Thank you for the rubrics for Sars.!
Not sure if this is any help:
Nat.sulph
or this:
R; Rectum; INVOLUNTARY, stool,; motion on (4) : apis, bry., ph-ac., phos.
not clear whether she actually DOES, so :
R; Rectum; OPEN, anus; open, anus, sensation of (13) : ail., Aloe, alum., apis,
apoc., ign., kali-c., op., phos., puls., sec., sumb., trom.
Any use ?
regards, Barbara

Re: weird sx
Thanks for that Joy, and thanks Shannon. I will do some studying. Re Spig - Headaches behind the eyes I am sure is one of the few symptoms this patient doesn't have!!!! I shall still study it although checking my records I did give her a dose last November and then didn't see her again until January .
18th Nov:-
When I next saw her in January she was the worst I have ever seen her, couldn't work and just started with a naturopath. She had left her husband - it was a type of frightened to be near him as got panicky- to live back with Mum who she also seems to be afraid of. Leaving her husband was to do with the fact that he keeps scratching at eczema and the noise irritated her. "I feel like a guinea pig on speed"!!! At this stage I prescribed Calc Ars in a water potency. She often said that she feels poisoned.
I then didn't see her until May when she was like a different person - having been diagnosed with Borrelia, Rickettsia, Coxiella infections which affect the CNS by this naturopath who had her on various supplements including Noni, Cat's Claw and others from Nutramedix. She was off nearly all allopathic medication and was on the mend. She was back with her husband - no anxiety problem and back at work. She even drove herself to me which she had never done before.
I saw her again this month Hypericum helps the nerve pain at times and Puls helps the tears.
This is a difficult case to manage as she won't come regularly to me. She is one of those people who tries everything and every one and often phones up for reassurance. Another one of my difficult cases. They are the only ones you get to hear about
She phoned today to tell me she has now been diagnosed as having Parrott's disease (???) by the Naturopath and one of the suggestions is to take Cumanda as well as well whatever else she is taking from the Nutramedix.com site!!!!!
Oh well back to the studying.

Re: weird sx
Very interesting. Parrot's disease is a condition whereby cartilage is
converted into bone - snake rx? Delusion poisoned brings up some
interesting rx + fear of people. The extreme sensitivity of nerves,
maybe Asarum. Does she really have parasites or is this a metaphor for
something. It sounds to me that she is extremely impressionable as to
the opinions of the naturapath and I would guess that this is what
needs to be cured. Does she have anything like the floating sensations
ascribed to Asarum.
Best wishes, Joy

Re: weird sx
I've probably spelt the Parrot wrong as this is something to do and associated with Lyme's disease. I'm afraid I'm taking these disease names with a pinch of salt and prescribing on the symptoms!!! However I will look up Asarum!! Thanks

Re: weird sx
Thanks for the rubrics Barbara. I have actually suggested that she lay off the Puls .WP because it has diarrhoea on waking and also it is in the Sensation rubric you gave.
