Re: carsinosin
Thank you very much for those websites.
Can you explain to me why it is considered to be a nosode?
No I'm not a Homeopath - just do alot of reading on Homeopathy and have been involved with it since 95.
thanks,
Colleen
And another excellent source.

Re: carsinosin
Dear Colleen
It is called a NOSODE because it is made out of disease product!
Simply stated: a nosode is a homeopathic remedy prepared from a pathological
specimen.

Thank You
How safe is that? I thought all remedies were prepared pretty much the same way.
There are so many avenues to go up in studying Homeopathy - this is one I haven't touched on.

Re: carsinosin
Hi Colleen,
Completely safe, when used in potency, and as directed! As with any
other remedy, by the time you get to even a low potency, there is
hardly any of the substance in it. And nosodes are more usually used
in high (or highish) potencies, which contain none whatever of the
substance. Not to worry!

Dear Colleen
As Shannon has accurately mentioned, when homoeopathic remedies are made in
potency, they become safe to use. Even the venom of the most poisonous snake
become a safe and powerful remedy (See Lachasis).
That is one of the beauties of Homoeopath.

Hi Colleen
When taking nosodes of any kind I would definitely err on the side of caution. They are only safe-ish if being used in a classical manner as with all remedies.
Here's an excellent link that will give you the complete run-down on nosodes:
http://www.simillimum.com/Thelittlelibr ... sodes.html
If you're in the process of learning homeopathy, you'd do well to read as much as you can from:
www.simillimum.com
I hope this helps.
