Well Water - (Maintaining Cause ?)

Dear Colleagues

The subject of well water is very interesting because of its impact on
health.

The quality of the ground water is very important. In Bangladesh a lot of
wells were sank with the aid of international funding - no one did any
quality tests - years later when people gradually became ill, the water was
found to have high ars levels!

So water quality should be tested for minerals on a regular basis.

Water that passes through the earth is generally safe to drink. However,
contaminants can get in. One way is where there are shallow bore holes which
act as a depository for the domestic waste waters from toilets, bathrooms
and kitchen.
In such circumstances, if the two bore holes are in proximity of each other,
it is possible for contaminants to cross over or also to contaminate ground
water, so the next bore hole down the strata gets the germ load. So if there
changes in number of bores sunk, water needs to be tested.

Here in Essex/England our water is full of all sorts of rubbish. I invested
in a reverse osmosis unit when the local authority put a notice in the paper
to say that the water should not be added to ponds or aquaria as they had
found some kind of larvae in the water and had added a chemical (safe for
humans supposedly) to kill the larvae.

The resulting water is BEAUTIFUL and 'sweet' to drink.
