Homeopathy School in Mexico
Hello,
I have heard that there is a school in Mexico that teaches
homeopathy to laypeople - almost all other homeopathy schools teach
MD's. Does anyone know the name of this school? It is in the state
of Jalisco, so it is most likely in the city of Guadalajara.
Also, I would like to know more about the practise of homeopathy
in Mexico, if anyone has contacts there, that would be much appreciated.
Thank you very much,
Tami

Hi Tami,
I don''t have info on the Mexico school you have in mind, but there are
many schools that teach to laypeople! Where are you, and what sort of
school are you looking for (correspondence or on-site, parttime or
fulltime, and where?)

Hello Tami
Another option would be distant education. I've just finished with Toronto
School of Homeopathic Medicine. And I know that the overseer Raymond has
students all over the world. Email me if youd like me to tell you more. He
also has a web site with details look for T.S.H.M.

Hi Tami,
If you would be interested in homestudy you may want to visit the website
of the British Institute. They can be found at www.bihusa.com

There are two homeopathic medical schools in Mexico City. It is full time
like any medical school which is 4-6 years and you receive a homeopathic
medical degree. the names of the schools are: Escuela Libre do Homeopatia
and Instituto National Politecnico.

Do you know what style(s) of prescribing they teach--is Organon at
least a part of the program, for instance?

Yes, both schools teach the Organon, Escuela Libre has a hospital on the
premises and IPN is associated with 2 homeopathic hospitals and a
psychiatric sanitarium. They both offer very complete courses

Now that is fabulous to hear! I didn't know that a hospital
affilitated school was available on our continent! Just for curiosity,
do they teach less-classical methods also, or are they purely
classical? (Frankly that would surprise me; but I'm delighted to hear
that Organon is part of it, in any case.)
