Multiple Chemical Sensitivity

The numbers of people with MCS seem to be burgeoning in my area. There's
enormous variability in their sensitivity and responses to remedies -- not
to mention a constitutional picture that's murky, to say the least. I'm
wondering what experience others have had in treating them homeopathically.
Or if any homeopaths are doing research or writing in this area.

I make house calls for my patients with MCS, but I'd like to make my office
a safer environment. Unfortunately, for them and me, it's in an old house
that has some mold problems. Yes, I'm working on mold remediation, but in
the meantime I'm looking at air purifiers. There are many out there, with
different technologies (HEPA, electrostatic precipitation, ozone generators,
ionizers, etc.) -- and wildly different prices. Have any of you had
experience with air purifiers? Any you could recommend that aren't likely
to break the bank?

RE - air systems - it greatly depends on the materials that are causing problems. I have used many and only consistantly recommend the HEPA filtration systems (which now days cost less than any other sytem).

Thanks for the article, Andy. As I've said before, you always have the best
stuff. But a book? I don't think so. An article maybe. (Actuallly I am
working on a book now with Dr. Ramakrishnan on treating cardiovascular and
neurological disorders. It should be very helpful for homeopaths -- once we
get it finished!).

Wish I could get me some castoreum! They're clever buggers -- you have to
admire their engineering and hard work. But not their destructiveness.
Giant swimming rats with big tails. If many more trees disappear, there'll
be little to hold the bank in place during the spring floods.
