Nearly sent this some time ago. Found it very distressing for the troops
but more so for residents of countries contaminated. Now that issue has
come up

Yes, DU is a disaster, and another of the aspects of this war which
never reaches the public forum - I produced a cable TV prog in LA
about it 18 months ago - it was also of course used in the first Gulf
War but not in such vast amounts.
The statistics are really , really chilling. The Veteran groups are
well aware of the issues but as usual they are vehemently disparaged
by the military medical profession - for obvious reasons.

But since this isn't a list for politics, I'll limit myself to the
homeopathy - there is no reason why the after effects of DU
contamination cannot be helped with homeopathy and whilst it's true
we would not be able to use potentised DU as a literal homeopathic
remedy unless we had proving symptoms - we might find it useful in an
isopathic sense given the clear aeitiology? Building up a clinical
picture in the process?

-- are you able to describe the common effects of DU poisoning? For vets of
which wars has it been a factor?

non-radioactive. Depleted uranium is radioactive, with a half life of
4.4 billion years. It now contaminates battlefields, military bases,
proving grounds, the hundreds of thousands of soldiers who handled it,
and the innocent victims of war. DU remains imbedded in soil, water, and
bodily fluids long after its use, where millions can come into contact
with it.

When these highly toxic uranium particles enter the body, they become
lodged in major organs or bones, affecting the bone marrow and producing
DNA damage."
