geographic tongue

Post by J Lucas »

Dear Rochelle, I know this is a typical 3 legged stool but have you
considered Colchicum for your tongue case. It has glossitis, white spots in
the eyes, learning difficulties. Might be worth a look at.

best, Joy

Thanks Joy and Venkat . I've now got loads of Rx ideas to look up. I would sum her up as Calc without fears (except initial shyness+ daredevilish and wanting to please). I will work on it. Meanwhile I phoned Mum and suggested a good multivitamin tablet which has magnesium , zinc and the B vits. in.

Rochelle,
Sorry I am chipping in late in this thread. My two
sons had this mapped tongue and both had been victims
of anti biotic and steroid abuse !

For the ender boy, the mapped tongue vanished at about
eight years only to manifest in mind with absent
mindedness getting up prominently (now slowly
responding to verat a).

The younger one was lucky in that I had learnt
homeopathy by then. In the first phase , when I took
this tongue sx as a must in case taking, nothing great
could be done. But once, seeing the miasmatic totality
and went for tub, that gave up albeit slowly.

In both cases the map was on and off. Gone for some
time, then on for a month. Both couldn't eat spiced
foods,(burning). Curiously, when things threatened to
go out of control for my younger one and antibiotics
were given, the map will resurface. Thank god, that
phase is gone mostly.

In your case agar and tub can be considered agar for
the daredevilry and tub as an intercurrent. Since the
child had coughing spells in the past and the late
milestones, agar might just fit. In my opinion, the
children exhibit pronounced mental symptoms (by some
divine order) to lead us to the remedy since they
cannot tell us their sx ! My son's contrariness with
parents led me to tub.

Let the map alone, focus on the srp on the mental and
physical plane and you will be there. All the best.

sheep dung stools. ( typical 3 legged potty stool;-)
Knerr gives Tongue - Imperfect development - child is slow learning

Again,
Nutrition offers its information here, geographic tongue is always marked as
a severe Vitamin B deficiency.
Pellagra remedies in Homeopathy would cover the tongue better, getting to
the cause behind the cause first, and changing the diet, or getting B shots.

Sure-
Riboflavin deficiency could cause glossitis. The white spots in eye (
or eyes?) could also be Bitot spots due to Vitamin A deficiency.
Going to the cause behind the cause behind the cause ( how is that??)
why should there be this multiple deficiencies? Just plain lack of
nutrients or is there something that prevents absorption and
assimilation? Probably apart from supplements this needs to be looked
at too...
