Ulcers which refuse to heal - Update

Post by Rochelle »

Just to say I saw the patient this week and the ulcers have all gone. (Whew). They went after using Calendula 200 bd for a few days - Thank you to Rosemary Hyde for the suggestion.

I didn't prescribe for her constitutionally as I want all the Rx out of her system. She has had another period after 6 weeks - her presenting complaint was amenorrhoea from Polycystic Ovaries and the menses are coming back now. She was complaining about an itchy throat from allergies/hayfever and the Wyethia I gave her while she was sat with me got rid of that. I also gave her some Mag Phos 6 to use if she gets bad period pain with the next period and arranged to see her again in a couple of months if nothing else crops up. Then I will start again with her. I am also pleased that she has had no bulimia since I saw her last either.

I feel sure that the ulcers were caused by the Hepar I had been giving her constitutionally as they were old symptoms, although they came up in June and the last dose of 200 she had in April having had one dose previously. I didn't prescribe in May.

All the best
