Would that make my patient so upset she can't talk about it? I suppose this is a possibility. She is definitely a complex person whose main issue appears to be that she can't let go of what she sees as grievances against her. I gave her Nit Ac. to start with.

Hi Shannon,
I agree. She has booked an EFT only session reason being that she is so loquacious in the 2 consultations I have had so far that I haven't had time to do anything but show her how to use it herself !!

This is no innocent patient and she has no qualms about her nymphomania. She says she has no difficulty getting a man if she wants one (she is no slim beauty either) and can't see why it should be one rule for the men and one for woman. She says she has been faithful to her current - of 5 years - partner. He is not living with her at the moment but at the first consultation she confidently told me that she was sure he would be soon!!

If you manage to make your patient laugh or cry during the consultation, you
are having a good case taking session.

Go gently , but do not be concerned that the patient may become too up set.
If they are, they will cry - and let them have time and patience for them to
cry and get it out of their system.

Couldn't her distress simply be sorrow that the romantic story doesn't end
"happily ever after" -- Wendy goes home and Peter stays behind by himself?
It's certainly worth asking why.

OK I have read the last 3 Chapters of Peter Pan and the only thing I can think of that might upset her is of Wendy growing up and not being able to fly with Peter.

But I found it interesting that *Wendy* was not bothered by that!

Maybe it was wishful thinking on my patient's part that as an adult she would still be able to do things that she did as child. I think she was the one who told me she can see ghosts or at least is aware that something is there. I am definitely going to have to ask her about the Peter Pan thing when I see her again in abut 2 weeks. I will let you all know!!
