Hi Vera,
Personally, I have not found coffee to anitdote remedies I have taken, and
using essential oils in my work as a massage therapist doesn't seem to
bother them either. However, I recently started seeing a Network
Chiropracticor, who uses energy contacts rather than physical adjustments of
the vertebrae, and it does seem to possibly be interfering with the
longevity of a well chosen remedy. I mention this because there are enough
similarities between the energetic effects of cranio-sacral and Network
chiropractic that the chiropractor suggested avoiding cranio sacral work
during treatment with him. He explained that they set up similar but
slightly different waves of energy, which seem to interfere with each other.
So, I'm interested to hear how your case became muddied. In my case, the
remedy worked really well, but has had to be repeated more often than
expected. If I get more clarity on this over time, I'll let you know.
On the subject of coffee, again... this is from a lecture Frans Vermeulen
gave last year-
"Another myth: coffee antidotes remedies. It may indeed affect nervous
remedies like ignatia or chamomila that are affected by excess coffee. But
Hahnemann’s pamphlet about coffee was political, not medicinal. The king of
Prussia didn’t want to pay the Dutch for coffee, and Hahnemann was close to
the family of the king. Hahnemann believes that coffee makes a person weak
and sentimental, and advised that his patients not drink it."
Best,
Susanne

Hi Patricia,
Are you saying that you managed to eliminate the
"moustache" with this protocol ?
Best wishes, Barbara

Dear Michelle
As Folliculinum is a sarcode, the "intercurrent rule"
regarding the use
of a
nosode to "close a miasm down" doesn't quite apply.
Sarcodes enjoy best
use
as organ support. In the case of Folliculinum it's
most often used to
regulate ovarian function.
However, due to the fulsome picture that Melissa
Assilem has provided
for us
regarding this particular sarcode it also "enjoys" use
as a medicine
that
sits alongside the polychrests, its "picture" being
somewhat akin to
Carcinosinum especially on the mental/emotional level.
In that way it
can
also be used in the higher potencies.
Interestingly the very first time I ever used
Folliculinum (when I was
in
student clinic) was to treat a skin condition on a
lady who, by
observation
at least, (due to her quite "masculine" appearnce that
included an
obvious
moustache) had hormonal dysfunction. I prescribed Foll
6C in a water
potency
to be taken daily (succussing in between doses) from
ovulation to
menses
(which was when her skin condition always settled [
menses > :foll])
for 3
months. It did an excellent job on all levels.
kind regards
Patricia

LOL!!
No; but over time the jeans and t shirt, shaven head and "mannish" look was
substituted by more feminine attire. She grew her hair stylishly and began
to wear makeup; an interesting change, I thought!
With all these subtle changes the dark down on her upper lip was less
noticeable, but still there, never-the-less.
