Boy – oh Boy- Is it not getting better and better.
There was this homeopath arrested in US 50 years back for practicing
Radiaesthesia – ( Julian would you know his name?).He used to
contribute to Recorder the same time Drs.Hayes, Sutherland,
Underhill, Whitmont used to write..
He would be in his elements now. New Age Homeopathy.

In the past 2 weeks I have seen discussions and support for Karma,
Reincarnation, Five element theory, Vibrations, Law of Signatures,
Thought Forms….and now , Chakras, Gems, and Meditative provings. All
in the name of Homeopathy. What are Meditative provings? People
meditate whether these are provings or not?

Why drag in Chakras into homeopathy? There was this Dr.medic. from
Germany ( You Know Who) who was arguing that even ultra sound was
not good enough for him to prove Homeo can cure Gall stones. And we
have people here blithely giving seminars about Brow charkas being
affected… heart charkas doing the Red Sea thing and opening… as if
these Chakras are spinning away in all their glory for all to see…
And Butterfly tracking down Karma. What do you tell the patient. That
I am sending a Butterfly Pokemon to fight Karma? Where is the line
folks? Homeopathy should live or fall on its own Hahnemann-given-legs
and not because Chakras/ Karma/ Five Elements did not work out.

Homeo practice seems so easy. No body can prove me wrong. All I have
to say is –
"My diagnosis thru Five Element theory is that your Wood is not
good, Wood is Coal. Coal is Carbo Veg and also Diamond. And because
you are wearing diamonds( Rajan Sankaran would agree with me) you
need Diamonds in potency. And I have also determined the symptoms of
Diamond to be the same as yours thru Meditative proving. And it is
your Karma ( original sin) that you are coming to ME for treatment…
And I am not going to give you the medicines.. They will be sent to
you as Vibrational medicine From Russia With Love. This is how
Hepatitis C can be cured".
I have never seen any medicine so "Spiritualized" as Homeopathy has
been within a span of some 20 odd years. It sounds so esoteric and
occult now it is almost like a Spiritual slap stick comedy in
Discovery Channel. Talk about Hahnemann turning over in his grave. He
must be tap dancing out there seeing what goes on in his name…
All that remains is- face paint, head dress, black hens and some
candles- we can have a ritual.
My head is spinning faster than my crown chakra. Even in my retarded
state I am sure that this is not the advancement that Hahnemann
would have wanted.
He was probably well aware of all this mumbo-jumbo of his times. We
have this guy in 18th century who created this SCIENTIFIC medical
system which even now amazes us with its brilliance and common sense…
and we in 21 st century take it to Chakras, Karmas and Gems and call
it progress?
Homeopathy is first and foremost – A MEDICAL SYSTEM. It is not a
Scooby Doo mystery or TM or Zen in disguise. It is not for self-
improvement or spiritual emancipation. If these occur they are side
effects and NOT the main purpose. Read what Hahnemann says he would
need a student of Homeopathy to learn ( in his Lesser Writings).
And we have here folks ready to dish out Lac Caninum or Cat's Eye
(gem) to Halle Berry ( CatWoman) so that she does not cry so much
while at Oscar ceremonies… Law of Signatures or whatever…
This is not Scientific Homeopathy .. this is Scientology Homeopathy.
If this continues Hahnemann would be glad if he gets at least the
respect like Ron Hubbard.

Also in case there has not been any serious work on Past Life
Regression and Homeopathy I am serious about it for the next
conference. I just gave potentized Truck to a person who died a gory
death in his previous life when a truck ran over him and wonder of
wonders- in this birth he has pain all over his body as if run over
by a truck- and you know what – this symptom is not in any repertory
under any medicine- so I thought I shall prepare my own medicine by
hanging a bottle full of globules near the front tire of a violent
truck while it went from New York to Nevada killing a few deer and
raccoons in the way. How wildly creative….
Did someone potentize GAS? There is so much gassing in Homeopathy
esp. in conferences that we would need it more.

We are a diverse group, with diverse beliefs. It can be a hard balance,
between holding to one's own "common sense", versus respecting others'
beliefs and/or experiences -- but here as in the rest of life, we *have* to
try, if we are to "grow" our community and ourselves.

Here, as in the rest of life, growth comes by exploration and learning, and
not all will explore and learn in the same directions; not all will reach
the same conclusions. Can we achieve "unity of diversity"? If not, we'll
wind up fighting with ourselves (still/again), and helping to kill each
other (and ourselves) off -- still/again. (And in this I refer to both
homeopathy's history, also far more.)

However, I do agree there is a certain need to be clear about what is "basic
homeopathy", and what is speculative, experimental, exploratory, for the
sake of our struggilng credibility, among other reasons.

Physics has the same sort of problem, actually (quarks? string theory?
chaos? tunneling? wave/particle "nature" of light? ROTFL!!!!!], but since
physicists have started off on a firmer (less ridiculed, less financial
conficts-of-interest) and more private footing (hey, how come *they* don't
have a quackbuster contingency?), they haven't attracted as much "enemy
fire" as we have. And since most folks neither know nor care about physics,
the speculation, experimentation and explorations of physicists haven't
raised as much ire. Not to mention the irksome fact that it's been the
*weirdest* theories that have been working out the best in certain areas!
Fun to think about, IMO. So, er, pass the "common sense" please, and
oh, how about the salt, while you're at it? (giggling...) )
