Another gem from the Irish Conference now typed up. I reckon at least the mastitis bit will be useful for humans!!

Homeopathy with Milk Herds – Gretta Mullen

Mastitis
1) Phytolacca – mammae hard and very sensitive. Heat and inflammation
2) Silica – old abscesses with pus formation which keeps repeating. Hard lumps in mammae- like a pea.
3) Sulphur – openings red, hot and hard. Excoriating
4) Hepar. S – Mastitis with suppuration. Much thick pus. 4 doses low than 1M
5) Bryonia- hard heavy painful to touch. >pressure > lying on the painful side, lumps, swelling and inflammation of mammae.
6) Belladonna- Mastitis with throbbing pain, redness, heat comes on fast, mammae hard, re, increased temperature, no appetite.
7) Conium – engorgement, stony hardness, painful to touch, stiffness of limbs on the same side.
Botulism

Sx – stiff gait, progressive paralysis up the body, unable to get up, difficulty swallowing, tongue loses reflex action.
1) Gelsemium- relieves throat paralysis and the difficulty swallowing. Anxiety, action centred on the nervous system, motor paralysis, muscular weakness, tottering gait, and muscles won’t obey will.
2) Lathyrus S – affects nerves governing locomotion, spastic paralysis, rigidity of limbs
3) Conium – ascending paralysis ending in death by respiratory failure. Affects nerves and muscles causing in coordination and paralysis. Staggered as if drunk and falls onto knees.
4) Curare – Reflex action diminished. Muscular paralysis without impairing sensation and consciousness. Paralysis of respiratory system.
5) Plumbum M – progressive muscular atrophy. Paralysis caused by breakdown of nerves. Tremulous tongue, froth in mouth. Affects the muscles, nerves and spinal cord, Sensation of swelling in the throat.
6) Botulism nosode – Poisoning. Paralysis like drunk. Difficulty swallowing, weakness and uncertainty walking, mask like expression on face. 200, 1M treatment 30, prevention.
Other tips

Silica – hoof fibre infection

Aconite – fear of going to a new place

Apis – lumps of oedema in legs

Carbo Veg – new babies with their tongue out, blue babies – spray onto the tongue
Meningitis

Aconite/Apis alternate every 10 mins.

Cicuta – can’t hold head up.

Hi Rochelle,

Is it *only* the nosode of Botulism?

What about the "Botulinum" (which is the TOXIN, according to
Boericke's MM)?

In my opinion the toxin's MM is better at least fr the treatment of the
symptom.

Yes it probably does mean Botulinum. Sorry but I take these notes at
