Phenomenal learning experience...

Post by Carol Boyce »

I was interested to see Dr. Ardavan's Featured links today included
Homeopathic Symposium and surprised not to have heard a peep on the
list about the site already.

Did NO ONE on the list take part last month when homeopaths from all
over the globe worked together on a difficult case via the internet!?

Jeremy Sherr moderated the subsequent discussion via a conference
call on June 6th. Unfortunately I was teaching at the Colorado
School of Homeopathy that day so couldn't take part in the call - but
his introduction and the audio of the call itself - analysis, themes
and case management issues are discussed in detail - is posted on the
symposium site - you can still access it and the case video footage
for free - but you need to register (also free) and get an access
code in order to protect the confidentiality of the patient.

In a months time the follow-up will be filmed and we'll "meet" to
track progress (hopefully in a curative direction!)

It's a phenomenal learning experience whatever level of homeopathy we
have, a rare opportunity for collaboration and as a teaching resource
- well I wish I'd had access to it 20 years ago - but then there was
no internet back then!

If you haven't checked it out yet, you should take a look. (In fact
I think it would be remiss of anyone in the community to miss this
opportunity.) It's a very heavy case, you will need all your
compassionate detachment, newer students may need to use Rescue
Remedy or some other support to take care of themselves while
watching the video.

The prospect of homeopaths working together for the "suffering
humanity" as the Indian homeopaths say, well its what the Old Guys
used to do in an oak panelled room somewhere and now hundreds of us
can pool our resources online!
