Re: Different Case
Hahnemann talked about Mental illness as a ŒOne Sided Disease¹. These are
characterized, among others, by the absence of physical symptoms.
Look at Aphorism 210 D Hahnemann says "Mental disease is one sided disease
in which the mental symptoms are most prominent. It is not a separate class
of disease as all disease have prominent mental symptoms."

Re: Different Case
The remedy that comes first to my mind for "wants to shock people" is hyos,
which also reps high in the rubrics I looked at. ??? What's the rubric for
"wants to shock people"??? "Antics" doesn't quite describe it...
But to kill and eat people out of "sense of adventure", well, I would say
there's a *HUUUUGE* amount of separation, want of moral feeling, etc., etc.

Yes,
Now we are getting somewhere.
I agree completely.
The horror of this case hides the real sense of it, and I think this is the
right track.

Re: Different Case
Mm, I don't think "suppression of desires" is the issue here! Most of us
don't *need* to suppress desires such as "kill", "eat people", etc. This is
just severe illness at a very, very deep level.
Also, I don't think it's accurate to say that "most health problems are
caused by the mental suppression of desires." Certainly *some* are, but
others have causes that are more to do with other factors -- miasm/genetics,
toxicity, deficiency, errors of lifestyle, etc. Certainly a very
well-balanced outlook will lessen the impact of all of these, but
correspondingly, absence of all of these improves the likelihood of a
well-balanced outlook! That ol' mind-body connection *does* cut both ways.
I believe even Kent has said the same.

Re: Different Case
I came across his Website and was looking at his paintings, after I had the
dream about John Gacy a month ago.
I wrote to him to ask him how much his paintings were, that my husband would
like to have one, and how he was sick, etc. and he saw my Website in my
signature and contacted me back.
Love,

Re: Different Case
Hello Alva
you certainly have a very challenging case.
the remedy i would suggest is Sol-T-AEG
this remedy belongs to the Solanaceae family. Other remedies of this family
are Bell, Hyos, Stram, Atrop, Datura, Tab, Dulc, Cap, Mand., and Lycop
i see that Joy has suggested Stram and Shannon had suggested Hyos.
I have recently attended Divya Chabbra seminar in Ireland and she says the
key vital inner feeling of this family and the words they use are as
follows:
ALONE (abandoned) - key inner feeling of px.
ANIMALS: dogs, sharks, crocodile, lion, tiger dinosaur (or animals idiginous
to the country they live in)
FIRE
POLICE
NOISE
WATER
EAT UP - it is the key thing. they will eat me up
OBSERVANT
CLINGING: god
guru
mother
desperately to life or death situation
SOCIAL : laughing
talking
DANCING
PLAYFUL (Bell) (coping mechanism)
SEXUALITY (Hyos) coping mecanism
AFFECTION - (they long for)
INSULTED
SHOUTHED AT, TROUBLES, HIT are common words they use
KILL
HIT
THROW THINGS
STUBBORN
DIRTY
Te main feeling of solanaceae is of being abandoned in a dark, strange,
dangerous place like a jungle where wild animals are ready to pounce and eat
them up.
Te cling desperately to someone so that they are not left alone (in this px.
case he is clinging to corpses!!!)
They try to be social, laugh, dance in order to HOLD the people they are
clinging to.
Their fear of being abandoned makes them extremely sensitive to supposed
insult or reprimand & they react with violence born out of a terror & panic.
Each remedy in the family has its OWN PECULIAR DELUSION as to what & how it
must cling to & what behaviour pattern would cause their "abandonment". So
with these finer ways we are able to differentiate. how are they going to
cling and what they must avoid so that they dont get abandoned.
Stram., Bell.,Hyos., Mand can get really angry and so for attention they can
bang and throw things.
SOL-T-AEG (Treuherz proving - you can get his contact details from the
Society. It would be benificial to get this proving from him.
Tthe delusion situation SOL-T-AEG is that of being alone in the wilderness,
inhibited not only by animals but CANNIBALS as well.
The world they inhibit is full of humans who drop to a level far below even
the animal instict. This is the only remedy in the RUBRIC DREAMS OF EATING
HUMAN FLESH. This px. is not dreaming but is actually eating it.
the world of people feeing off each other.
in this fearful world sol-t-aeg seeks helpless solace in religion & morality
to scourge the world of this frightening danger.
Feel extremely betrayed by people on whom they depend like parasites.
I feel he did all these things for attention which he didnot receive as a
child. and felt very abandoned.
the other key rubrics and also sugested by Shannon are
mind moral affections want of moral feelings
mind kill desire to
mind destructive
mind facies lascivous
all these rubrics have both Bell and Hyos - Solanacea family remedies.
i would also suggest you to read Sankrans bood of Plant famalies
good luck with the case

Re: Different Case
Is he lucky? Are you kidding? He's a heck of a lot sicker than anyone
with, say, a bad case of rheumatoid arthritis. Especially since his
sickness touches others in the most horrible way.
Think about the likely direction of cure in a case like this. It's not
uncommon for the very mentally ill to develop a deadly (and quick-acting)
physical pathology as their mental status improves.
Peace,
Cinnabar

Hi Cinnabar,
...
Can you say more about this? I was fielding a dim memory that it's not
uncommon for schiziphrenics to develop cancer during the course of their
cure -- which hopefully would be dealt with by remedies, not by chemo and
etc.
I've both seen and experienced the process of pathology moving out from the
mental and beginning to show in the physical -- tho I have never treated
serious mental disease, and never seen this happen in a dangerous way. When
I experienced this in myself ("never sick" as a kid, but also never well)
the trade-off was very, very, very well worth it -- being sick sometimes,
but having a life in between!! But if the physical expression is severe or
dangerous, that adds a dimension...
Can you say any more about it?
