Could this have been passed on to her from her son with the CP and
cellulitis? Has there been any cut or abrasion that might have caused
erysipelas (even though there appears to be no redness)? Has she had CP
herself and might be fending off another occurence? Has she had her
heart checked out? Do you any other modalities apart from >> movement -
Rhux tox? Sulphur? << morning - Lachesis?

Could it be an allergic state? There are 100's rx that have swollen
fingers. Anxiety about money + what you write = Arsenicum? Joy

I also wondered about if something had been passed over to her by her son.
He is still not through with the problem as he has hard bumps on his skin. I
wish she would bring him to me for a consultation !!! No there are no
modalities with her case. She seems fit enough and not complaining about
anything else. I also thought about Rhus Tox but dismissed it things that
with the itching there would be some type of vesicle present.

I didn't think of Arsenicum for her but have to admit it did come up high in
my rep. She is not somehow an anxious enough person. I will take a look at
it in Clarke for the particulars. Ars is not in Anxiety about money matter
or Fear of poverty in RU which was one of the reasons why I didn't consider
it.

Arsenicum IS most certainly in 'anxiety about money matters'. Money is
all about support and arsenicum is all about needing that support - it
is what forms the 'doubtful of soul's welfare' modern materialistic
outlook. I am also wary when there appears to be no modalities. There
has to be, somewhere. Joy

How about when she wakes up her skin feels tight (from the oedema) and she
has to "get my fingers moving before I can get my rings on".

Hi Rochelle

Maybe it is worth looking at Calc-sil as that remedy came up by
combining extremities-swelling-leg, mind-anxiety-moneymatters and
skin-itching-eruptions-without.

doesn't want to be touch at the moment but that is to do with the
skin itching which is < warmth of the bed. She has had a thyroid
test but since she has not had any results from it she presumes all
is OK. She is not thirsty.
remedies to look at will be gratefully received.

Good idea- I have given that remedy before to someone with those sort of
money issues. I will read the MM and see how the rest fits. Thanks

Dear Rochelle,
I would have given her Urtica Urens Q-TDS.
See if you find it suitable.

Thank you for that. It would be suitable for the itching but the oedema I
don't think is to do with this. It is more to do with water retention in the
legs and hands.

Have her get copies of her lab tests and numbers
on the thryoid test, as reference ranges today are controversial.
A TSH over 2.0 is highly suspect, though lab ranges can still
go up to 5.5.

I agree on the Urtica U.
