I think this discussion IS a real issue.
We all study within a school, start practicing according to what we learned, then find out that other people do otherwise, and they too claim to be right............
Doesn't that warrant comparing and discussing? what would we talk about if we were all agreeing on everything?
The lack of civility you see (and this is nothing compared to what was going on on certain lists a few years ago) is also the sign of people's passion about what they do and how they do it......I think that is positive, although I would love to see less personal attacks, but that comes with the territory.

Hi Dr. R,
Personally I agree with you, and find discussions (as opposed to quarrels)
about different approaches to be both interesting and enlightening. But
it's true that Minutus is intended to be "mostly" about classical, and for
some folks the digression (from classical, that is) has worn out its
welcome. I raise this only as a point to consider...
Maybe Sheri's suggestion was a good one, that Anna take the discussion to
Homeopathy Open, where everyone there knows that the boundaries are more
open, and will field her questions with more interest and less
defensiveness.
Anna, if you do, some of us (including both Dr. R and myself) will see you
there and try to pick up where we've left off. (Minus the personal attacks
and "negative assumptions", I would hope.)
I definitely agree that these *are* real issues! But learning doesn't tend
to happen when they're forced down anyone's throat... Sigh, or am I being a
wimp again...

Dear JRoz,
Yes, I agree with you entirely that it is helpful to discuss and compare,
but... what does one do when one discusses, or shares, ie. one has found malaria
in potency to be useful to treat side effects of malaria, and one gets a
mouthfull (or email full) of verbal personal abuse (and not on a private email
either)???
Regards, with respect and tolerance

Sorry folks, made an error here. I meant to say "Lariam in potency" and not
Malaria in potency.
Sincere apologies.
