Low Sperm Count

Post by Dr. Atiq Ahmad Bhatti »

Hi everyone.

Not to let a good thing pass, I would like to share the following with
you.

A number of male patients usually present the common complaint of having
a low sperm count. This is not solely for those that are mature in age,
but also many younger males in general. Causative factors more than
likely always result in supressed typhoid.

I have found that by using Kali Phos in CM s.d. once a month can
increase the sperm count successfully. Sometimes, typhoid is suppressed
and this can damage the sperm count resulting in a low count in general.
The prescription goes beyond constitutional prescriptions and it is to
be given in conjunction with the correct monitoring. One should
prescribe last thing at night and let the remedy take its course for the
duration of the month.

The best method of monitoring is in fact by having tests undertaken to
determine whether there has been an increase in the sperm count. The
alternative..........well..........the alternative I believe will be
evident!!

Indeed it is!

On the subject of Roman numerals... since C= 100, it is wrong to
write a 200 centessimal as 200C. It should be 200c (with a lower case
"c",
I have seem 200s labelled as both "CC" and "2C" -- you find the
latter in some old literature, and it makes one wonder why these
high-potency folk were using a "2C" when, you are thinking of a
second centsessimal potency-- written "2c"!

Ah.......
And even that capitalization could be easily "lost in the translation" I
would think! Good to keep in mind! (So, uh, 2C would be 200M ??)

2C is a 200 centessimal 200M? That wood be 200,000. Since 100,000 is
CM, a 200M would be a 2CM.

The problem is in the mixing of Arabic and Roman numerals.
This is necessary because the Roman system does not have a symbol higher than M (1000). Strictly speaking CM should translate as 900, as placing the 100 symbol before the higher 1000 symbol indicates you should subtract it.

The convention in homoeopathy has been that CM means 100.000. The alternatives would have been writing 100 M's or 100.000 as an Arabic number.

I don't think that 200.000 should be written as 2CM. CCM would probably be causing less confusion.

10M should really be XM in this system and 50M LM, but that might create confusion for people who call the Q potencies LM's.
Maybe it is time to sort this out and create an official standard for potency numbering.
