this is for any of the herbalists on this list--i am looking for some substance that will
allay allergic sx to animals/cats. i have someone who cant come to dinner because of
my cat and i would like to suggest something immediate and at least palliative to him.

One thing I was reaidng about recently (I forget where) is ragweed tincture.
It was said to eliminate allergies in a very general sort of way, if I
remember right. Anyone have information on that? Other than that, what
about pharmaceuticals?

Quercitin will do the job nicely! One can take either just before contact,
or if that is not possible it can be taken once they reach the "location of
the aggravation". It can be repeated every three hours when necessary.

Thanks for the cyprepedium tip! This is what is so good about the list,
we learn new tips , and this is very useful indeed.
Using a remedy as a specific like this is something many homeopaths do
for particular problems like a specific cat allergy.

I have had pts report that spraying furniture, carpets, etc with black
tea (especially after vacuuming)
helps immensely

Went to see a 91 year old in a nursing home this am. She looked
great ,smartly dressed and mobility improved considerably since last
seen.
She had sent off to America, managed payment for Vital 3 Joint
Solution . It seems to me on Googling that this is a collagen organ
remedy perhaps in potency.
