Just thought I'd share this. I recently had a very sweet syphillinum
experience with a calf born with various deformations (calf equivalent of
club foot, asymmetrical face, cleft palate) and relapsing pneumonia. She
also had a very skin-crawly sort of pathos and desperation about her, and
every time she got sick (again), I truly expected her to die (which she
probably would have, except for penecillin!) Short version -- when she was
two months old I finally took the leap and put syph 10M into her drinking
water, and by now, two months later she is absolutely, completely fine and
normal looking! And I am just tickled pink. What led me to give her syph
was the facial asymmetry (very striking) plus other deformities, plus the
strange way she affected me: strong aversion (I usually enjoy the calves)
and hopelessness.
Now she's a calm, happy, pretty-looking calf, with no trace of her former
problems, and I am *so* tickled!!! There, I've been dying to share that
story.
