very interesting info on lettuce. reminds me of an herbal workshop i attended
a number of years ago. it had to do with understanding how early people
developed a sense of pharmacopia. i was doing a 'meditation' in front of an overgrown
weed. the effect was very sleepy. that was the only reading i could get. the weed
turned out to be wild lettuce!
