Genus Epidemicus UK

Post by Rochelle »

Any thoughts on this tracheitis ( as the allopaths call it) going around? A patient's mum phoned the homeopathic helpline as my answer phone was on and they immediately said Dros 30. Symptoms are constant dry cough, drippy nose, > from running around , not ill. I have a vested interest as I also have it!!!! I have taken Baccillinum as I have had this once before and it helped. I don't cough when I am doing aerobics or running on treadmill but do when I stop. I suppose it could be hay fever but no eye symptoms. I'm not at all ill!! I think I caught it from a patient on Friday who I also gave Bacc. to but I haven't yet phoned her to see if it worked!!

There appears to be a fever/vomiting with or without diarrhoea bug going around. Has anyone found the best remedy for it?

Hi Rochelle,

On a recent WholeHealthNow/Radar Free Teleconference call, Dr. Luc
DeSchepper said he had
treated 30 cases of this year's flu with Nux Vomica.

Just figured I could pass on this info but I don't think it qualifies as
"the best remedy for it"...

best regards as always, Patti Mount

Maybe not 'flu but Nux definitely has fever with vomiting (fever with
gastric sx), so a good suggestion.

Nothing like that round here - maybe the Mersey is getting into your water
supply

Is it a fever predominately with chill or heat?

Best, Joy

No it just seems to be vomiting and then with some diarrhoea comes later. Nux is brilliant for a fever with a chill as I have used it myself on occasions

Thanks for the "Genus epidemicus" info. As often happens with such information, a patient called me from Los Angeles, not 10 minutes after I got the e-mail about Nux-v, and told me she had a fever-chills, queasiness, burping, coryza combination. I told her to try Nux-v, 12c, 1 dose, and in 30 minutes she was feeling fine. These viruses seem to have a remarkable sychronicity all over the northern half of the western hemisphere, at least.

Last week my husband complained of having gotten Œfood poisoning¹ and
feeling feverish, queasy, with a headache. I could not find anything really
to rep, so I gave him activated charcoal in case of food poisoning and
waited. The following morning he reported a new symptom: His skin all over
the body upon touching, felt like it was Œgoing to sleep¹. Well. There is
just ONE remedy under that rubric, and it is Nux Vomica.

I gave him a single dose of 30C, and in an hour he was feeling much better
and the next day the entire episode was over. There was no food poisoning,
as I found out, this is a flu that is going around.

All I can say is that there must be either
1) very few from UK on this list
2) the GE is specific to this area - Merseyside
as it is not a Flu (like in USA) but sickness with or without diarrhoea . Does anyone belong to the SoH list and can check out if there is anything on there please
