A CASE OF BABY - TEETHING

Post by Homeo Bond 007 »

This is a real case of a patient who is in her teething period. Symptoms
were not clear. Mother was interested in getting medicine for her but father
don’t
Irritable but quiet
Pain in teeth but bearable
Wants to be carried but satisfied
Agitated but no scream
Tender to touch but tolerable
Greenish diarrhea but no stress
Unidentified pain but no expression
Growth slow but not delay
Feels better on pressure but not curious to bite
Wants to hold the mouth all the time but not curious
Beside suggesting a remedy for the patient I would like to request all of
you to comment on the enquired questions. Actually at the same time I want
to learn few principles from the said case so that I should be more careful
in future for the same case.

1. Should I give her medicine or not
2. What should I choose Coff, Bell, Calc, Cham or calc phos.
3. Which potency will be suitable?
4. I am going to prescribe a remedy in 200 for the time being before
dispatching this mail to mailing list. If you will suggest any other remedy
other then my choice then will it be suitable change the remedy according to
your suggested choice.
5. If your given choice is 30 c and the remedy is the same which I have
prescribed then will it be suitable to give next dose in 30 c.
6. Should I antidote the remedy first before changing remedy or I should
prescribe straight away.

Request for serious discussion

If you're uncertain of the remedy or even whether to give one, why are you
dispensing 200c potencies? It looks as if you've chosen from the leading
teething remedies without individualizing the prescription based on the
child's symptoms. If this is the case, please stick with low potencies in
the interest of doing no harm.

Peace,
Cinnabar
