Mag. Carb - Remedy Picture

Post by Faraz »

Hello All,

Can anybody please send me the REMEDY PICTURE of the remedy
Magnesia Carbonica ?

I already have access to the various materia medicas. What I am
looking for is the remedy picture like the one written by George
Vithoulkas in his book 'Remedy Pictures'. I currently do not have
access to the above book.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,
Faraz

Hi David,

Thanks for the response .

But I am looking at the deeper Mag.Carb. remedy picture which is not
found in the Materia Medicas.

I have read some points that Mag.Carb. has a 'deep fear of losing the
self-worth' and that it is the remedy 'given for abandoned
chiildren'..etc.

I`m trying to understand the complete picture of this remedy.
I am just not able to lay my hands on the book by Mr.Vithoulkas known
as 'Remedy Pictures'. I think this book has such a description about
this remedy.

Any further help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,
Faraz

I would like to point you towards Frans Vermeulen's new "Prisma" (The Arcana
of Material Medica Illuninated). It is a BRILLIANT book where he has drawn
from many sources including Vythoulkas, Kent, Hughes, Sankaran, Dewey,
Allen, Howland, Blackwood and Lippe. Hahnemmann and Gallavardin are quoted
also, as well as a plethora of other eminent authors. (ISBN 90-76189-07-2,
2002 Emryss bv Publishers, Haarlem, The Netherlands).

There is a very comprehensive picture of Mag Carb in this book. What
Vermeulen does is to draw similars between the homoeopathic drug pictures
and the substances they are derived from. It also clarifies certain "lesser
known" aspects of smaller polycrests.

I think you will find what you need in there. I had a brief look at the
entry which is similar to what you have quoted here:

"Forsaken feeling (feels unloved by his parents, friends)
May be indicated in orphans or neglected children, or in adults with such a
childhood or in adults who as a child witnessed a lot of quarrels between
their parents..."

"If Sulphur is the great unwashed, Mag Carb is the great unloved, the
illegitimate child, the droopy yet tense orphanage kid, anxious, silent,
with twitching face and fingers and reproachful eyes, sunken neck and
temples, always nibbling for comfort, craving meat, a veritable Oliver
Twist..."
Hope this helps
Regards
Eleana
